Surrounded by olive groves, providing a real Greek experience. Remote location, yet still well-connected to the city. Clean rooms, high-speed wifi, and a lovely bar to relax in. Friendly staff ready to assist, with excellent views of the city and bay. Easy access from the motorway, ideal for a stopover. Delicious ordered pizza available.

It was one the quietest and beautiful hotel I have ever seen. It is near to the forest and has an incredible view to the city of Kavala and to the sea. The staffs were very willing to bring me information about all touristic areas around Kavala. The room and the bathroom were very clear. Breakfast had a big variety of foods. It is a value for money hotel.

I absolutely loved the traditional architecture of the hotel, surrounded by beautiful pine trees. The warm and cozy ambiance made me feel right at home. As a senior woman, I appreciated how accessible the hotel was, with easy access to all the general areas and facilities. It was a joy to navigate around the hotel without any hassle.
If I had to ask for one thing to make the vacation even better for senior people, it would be for the staff to provide a shuttle service to nearby attractions. The children working there were friendly and helpful, but having transportation options would have made it easier for us to explore the area without any concerns.

We were treated with care and consideration and found the hotel warm and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and we were offered a coffee whilst using the internet connection available for free. The cats were also comfortable and it is sometimes difficult when travelling with animals but this hotel made us all welcome. The purpose of my stay was to rest overnight whilst travelling back to Spain from Turkey with my cats and my cousin. We enjoyed our stay at the Philoxenia and also found a lovely restaurant nearby ........I must add that the view from the lounge was wonderful; it was good to find parking on site and they made a log fire in the lounge not only in the evening but also in the morning when it was very cold.
Nothing.....everything was just what I hoped for when I booked the hotel
